The arena
Set out a legion against the Gauls. Spend your denarii on cohorts, put them on your half of the sand, and give the order. You have one horn call: use it well.
- Drag soldiers onto the rings on your side of the sand.
- Tap a cohort to set its formation; drag it out of the plate to send it away.
- Pugnate! Then sound the horn once, when it counts.

- Legionaries breaks spears and archers
- Archers wears them down from afar
- Cavalry rides down archers
- Spearmen stops cavalry
- Line acies: the usual order
- Testudo shields locked: arrows glance off, but slow
- Wedge cuneus: breaks a line, open on the flanks
